550 wheel chairs were gifted to Jamaicans in need. Watch the video of this impressive charity campaign: There is so much more to be done in Jamaica. Ja'Mobility will continue and aims to gift at least another 550 wheel chairs in one year's time. We'll update you on this years activities in the next newsletter. Donations are always welcome and the donation page is up and running at jamobility.com. Thank you so much for your support! Philip Earnhart and the Ja’Mobility team
Thank you for helping make the Ja'Mobility art and charity event a success! A special thanks to all the amazing artists who participated with great joy and support. To date, Ja'Mobility has raised over CHF 5'500.- ($6,000.-) which is enough to gift 100 Jamaicans with a wheelchair. Together with my team from the United States we have raised enough money to fill close to half of a 40 foot container with wheelchairs for those in need. In order to start the production of the wheelchairs we need to raise the full amount of ca. CHF 30'000 ($32,560.-) to fill the container with 550 wheelchairs. Please help us realize our goal to gift 550 Jamaicans with mobility! DONATE TODAY
A quick shout of thanks to all those who have helped transform this soap factory into an art gallery. Your efforts have shown great rewards already. I am looking forward to sharing this art/charity event with many of my old friends and with the new ones I'll make as well.
An article about Ja'Mobility from the current issue of the newspaper Biel/Bienne:
Article in the Bieler Tagblatt (12.5.2011):
Only 4 days, since the website went online. And already US$ 1'124.80 donated, which gives Ja'Mobility a team total of US$ 9'120.60. What a great start and we'll hopefully triple that, once the event in Biel has happened! Thanks to everyone for giving to Jamaica's poorest!
